Rainfresh espresso water filter provides better quality water for espresso machines, humidifiers and even combi ovens.

Water is the key ingredient in espresso. The quality of water, therefore, greatly affects the quality of the drink. Rainfresh SOFGARD espresso water filter system is designed to provide high quality water for small to medium volume espresso machines.

Espresso water filter prevents scale formation inside the espresso machine.  It also protects the beverage equipment from the damaging effects of sediment and scale. Some models also enhance the espresso taste by reducing chlorine, bad tastes and odours.

Rainfresh espresso water filter:

• Prevents scale build-up on the espresso machine by removing hardness from the water
• Reduces chlorine, chemicals and associated taste and odours in the water that affect the aroma and taste of espresso
• Provides crystal clear water for espresso by reducing sediment, dirt, rust and other particulates in the water

Rainfresh espresso water filter is available in several configurations to suit multiple application requirements.

• Model SOF11W espresso water filter is the most common system and suitable for most low to medium volume espresso machines
• Model SOF21W is a 2-stage filter that also reduces chlorine, bad tastes and odours from the water for a better tasting cup of espresso
• Model SOF11B is designed for very hard water or for higher volume espresso machines. It has 2.25 times the hardness removal capacity compared to the SOF11W and thus provide longer filter cartridge life
• Model SOF21B is a 2-stage high volume filter that also reduces chlorine, bad tastes and odours that affect the espresso taste.
