String Wound Sediment Filter Cartridges
Rainfresh SW series sediment filter cartridges remove dirt, rust , sand, silt and other particulate matter from water. Featuring a string wound construction SW series cartridges are ideal for residential whole-house filtration, RO pre-filtration, food & beverage and even commercial and industrial applications. SW series filter cartridges are manufactured using 100% food-grade polypropylene. No additives or binders are used during the manufacturing process, resulting in a pure product that does not leech out extractables in during use.
SW series filter cartridges exhibit high dirt holding efficiency at the rated micron size and low pressure drops with excellent flow characteristics.

INSTALLATION
- Installs vertically with any yellow gasket facing up
- DOE cartridges install vertically in either orientation
CARTRIDGE LIFE
- 4- 6 months of use. Cartridge life depends on the amount of dirt in the water and the volume of water filtered

TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
- SW series cartridges are a certified component, tested by CSA Group to NSF/ANSI 61 and to CSA B483.1 for material requirements

I purchase the SW1 cartridge from the Home Hardware store in Huntsville. It works extremely well in cleaning up the lake water and making it crystal clear. Five stars!!
