Water Softener Connector Kits

Model	Description
CKS	Specifically designed for easy installation of water softeners & other conditioners Connects conditioners with 3/4″ Male NPT connections to 3/4″ copper or PEX pipe Features two (2) flexible stainless steel connectors that can be bent or oriented in any direction Each connector has a 3/4″ quick connect fitting on one side and a ¾” female threaded fitting on the other Install water conditioners in minutes. Saves time, effort and money !
CKS1	Same as CKS but with 1″ female threaded connection instead of 3/4″ Connects water conditioners with 1″ male threaded connections to 3/4″ copper or PEX pipe

Water filter connector kit is an excellent way of installing water filters without the need for soldering or expensive PEX crimping tools. The water filter connector kit includes simple compression and threaded fittings. Installation can be completed just with the use of an adjustable wrench.

Water softener connector kit is even easier.

Rainfresh CKS1 is a solderless connector kit designed for installing water conditioners with 1” male threaded connections to ¾” PEX, copper or CPVC pipe.

• Do not expose to corrosive agents
• Do not use pipe dope or thread sealants to make a connection
• Do not make sharp bends or kink the connector in any way

INSTALLATION

• Turn off water supply and open a faucet to de-pressurize the lines
• Cut the cold water pipe at a convenient location where you have chosen to install the water conditioner
• De-burr the ends with a knife, file or any other appropriate tool. Make sure that the cut is clean, straight and there is no debris on the end of the pipes. Warning: Do not use a saw to cut the pipe as it cause burrs and  rough cuts that can cut the O-ring seal in the connector and cause leaks
• Apply some silicone lubricant on the pipe to ensure that the connector slides smoothly over the pipe
• After completing the filter installation, open the supply valve slowly to check for leaksTo remove the connector, turn water supply off & de-pressurize lines. Depress the white collet fully while pulling the connector out.
