Rainfresh FC200 is an economical water filter system designed to deliver better quality drinking water for urban homes where reduction of chlorine taste and odour is required . FC200 can be installed either undersink (connected to the cold water line of the kitchen faucet) or inline (to serve 1 or 2 drinking water outlets). Better tasting drinking water, coffee/tea and other beverages. Made in Canada

INSTALLATION
- Installs under the kitchen sink in approx 30-45 minutes
- Connector kit sold separately
REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE
- Replacement activated carbon water filter cartridge model CF2 lasts 1,000 US Gal (3785L) or 6 months
- For chloramine reduction, replace with optional cartridge model CA1
- Replacement cartridge available at most retail stores in Canada. Click on the “Where to buy” tab for list of retailers
TESTING AND CERTIFICATION
- Tested and certified by CSA International to CSA B483.1, to NSF/ANSI 42 for reduction of chlorine, taste and odour and to NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free requirements

Simple solution to removing chlorine from kitchen tap. Highly recommend.
Does a great job of removing the chlorine taste from the water. But the top housing is made of plastic with poor pipe threads which are hard to seal. I first returned to the store thinking the connection kit had a defective fitting but it still leaked with the new one. After re-taping the fittings a few times I returned the filter for a new unit. And the new one leaked although not as bad. A relatively quick job turned into an all day job.
Finally got the leak stopped by using both teflon tape and pipe dope. I would pay a premium price for a higher quality metal housing which would be a better medium to cut good pipe threads that don’t leak.
Tough time sealing leaks. The threads kept leaking no matter how much tape i used. I ended up putting o rings in the housing and the threads finally quit leaking.
